Dear Randy,

Thanks for your reply.

The electrical system is 12 volt.

The car is a Glenn Pray Second Generation that has been further modified to original 852 appearance. As a Glenn Pray, the engine and electrical system are 1967 Ford 12 volt.

Bob I do not think you will find a 12v bulb to fit those old 6volt sockets,so you may have to change the sockets . Randy

Dear fellow Auburn guys,

I've been trying to find a replacement headlight bulb for my Auburn 852 Speedster. The headlights on my 852 Speedster are original.

The bulb reads 12 V 60 / 40 W LEFT HAND DRIVE THORN MADE IN ENGLAND LAMP NO. 417
It's a "high-low beam" with three contact tabs on the rear that fit into the socket and the rim of the light "clips in" to the mounting.

I've contacted the following potential sources without success.
Holden Vintage Parts- holden.co/uk
Replacement Bulbs.com- replacementbulbs.com
Dons Bulbs- donsbulbs.com

I can send you a JPEG showing the bulb from various angle. You assistance is appreciated.
