Frank Cek has machined out and installed modern seals. I believe it's a GM seal that he uses.

I am getting ready to replace my rear main seal on the Auburn. Any tips, tricks or suggestions on doing this? I was wondering if there is a modern seal that replaces the rope seal and what should I torque the mains at?
Thanks for the information.
