Well my latch looks like this but I do not have the cover on mine. My lower valance piece looks like the part on the left with the holes in it.I even have the original bolts and screws with that piece. Seems the more I know.. the less I know... The receiving part that attaches below the lid is the same, for either side. I have found two versions of these, one with a slight bend inward at about the bottom of the "hook", the other smooth.

Is this a correct key
How does this locking mechanism work with the bottom piece that connects to under the trunk valance
Is the bottom part the same as the left bottom non locking latch? Thanks for any help.
