And, if not worn to the rivets I would avoid changing the brake linings - seen more problems than solutions and doubt you are going to put many miles on the car

You can probably hone out or have re-sleeved whatever your father has in the car and the interior parts are available by size at any good auto parts store (ex. NAPA)

I am going to have to go through the brakes on my fathers 1937 812 Custom Beverly with the object of making it roadworthy again. I seem to remember someone saying that they are the same brakes as a Studebaker of the same year. Is that true? I have a friend in the Studebaker parts business. Barring the parts interchange information does anyone have current part numbers for master and wheel cylinders? I would prefer to use new or rebuilt units as I have not looked inside the ones on the car to see what condition they are in. I do have a leaking wheel cylinder. If I can't get the cylinders I would be interested in rebuild kits.
