Heaters Installed In Cords (Pics Working Now)

Thanks for your comments. I thought pretty much the same. I was hoping for a Canadian Cord owner to reply with "It is the same as fitted to my Cord." It will be staying in the car when the current restoration is finished.

Most add ons were installed by the dealers ,which is where they made extra profit.The dealers could order something direct from the factory,but most of the time it was installed by the dealer ie Radios, heaters, hood ornaments trunks, ect

Terry, I found other people having this problem who use an iMac. Is that what you use? Anyway, I had to screenshot the photo and post it....never could get your original to load. However, your other picture loaded fine.

Attached is a picture of the heater that was installed in my Cord when it arrived. I have no idea if it was originally fitted when the car was sold by the Canadian agents O'Donnell Mackie. It has an Art Deco face so it is a contemporary design for the time period. In the diamond shaped tag at the bottom it says WEED TROPIC - AIRE MAMMOTH Made in Canada. Dominion Chain Co Limited Niagara Falls.
I have not been able to find another like this in Google Images.
Has anybody seen another heater like this ?
