L is a factory designation for chassis so it tells me that this chassis had factory modifications to it before assembling it to the Curtiss aerocar .R Ps the story is that the Curtiss was hit and destroyed. R

That Wrigley family of the well known gum. When Wrigely sold the island long ago he never looked at what he owned and did not own. There is little more than a rock on the north shore of thenarrow area called Bird Rock.An attorney looked into this and purchased this and angered Wrigley. Its still a privately owned island...Or rock.... So there are two distinctly different islands.
Would this be Wrigley of the Wrigley Gum Company?
Thanks

Curt, is the picture you posted Wrigley's car and trailer? After speaking with more of my relatives, I've been informed that my grandfather purchased his car/trailer from Wrigley in California, although he lived on the East Coast. Perhaps he purchased just the trailer from Wrigley since the cars in the pictures are clearly not the same.
Randy, I sent you a PM. Thanks again,
Jay

So were these a 5th wheel type hitch setup? Were these rumble seat cars or something so the hitch was in place of the seat?

These appear to be two different cars and two different trailers. I was unaware of the coupe with the black top.

Looking for Info was created by JDB
I am hoping someone can provide information on the Cord (810?) and more specifically, the travel trailer attached. This vehicle was my grandfather's and this rare photo of it recently turned up in our family. I know nothing about these cars but am interested in learning more about what he owned and whether any similar trailers have survived. My grandfather sold the car years ago (most likely in the '40's) so information as to what happened to it no longer exists. Thanks for any help you can provide! And I apologize for the poor quality of the attached photos.
