My husband Nyle Reed acquired John Barrymore's Murphy-Bodied 1930 L-29 Cord Town Car in 1961 from a chicken coop farmer in Merced, CA. . The Cord Town Car is all original. Never been restored. It has Been in our family for over 55 years. Richard Smith an ACD member came down a couple of days ago, and did his yearly check on the Cord Town Car. (Because my husband Nyle Reed passed away in 2012) Than he gave me my first driving lesson. Driving my L-29 Cord Town Car was amazing. :D

FABULOUS!

With brakes, two cylinders are better than one.

This is the most moving L-29 Cord story of all time. Sad and uplifting in one historical package. A lovely lady possessed of a beautiful automobile. Thank you Eloise for sharing your passion , Jonathan Richards #1080 in Chesterfield , MO
