Here is what Ray Wolff wrote about J-265

History: Original owner? a US Ambassador to England? If so, has fold out front windshield an was berline 6 Pass. R. E. Byrd, Jr. Boston. Larry Beals, then Charles Fisher MA. 1940/42, Larry Beals-Holliston, MA who scrapped. Hoe has a welded b/h which he thinks is this, got it when he got bad block formerly in Thurn's J-401. This may be engine in Princetown Museum, MA., but with J-135 b/h -Have 1940 photo of the ex-Fischer & Belas Judkins 7-Pass. 7-window limo at Beals 1940. F. Roe said maroon with black fenders. Window sills a lt. color, 19" chrome wheels, sun visor, full curtains in rear. Hoe bot engine parts late '45 from Hodiech.

I find engine 265 but no listing for car. I also find chassis 2265. ?

New here.

My dad owned Duesenberg # 265 during WWII. Can anyone tell me if this car has survived, or where it went? Or provide a photo?
