I hate to say this, but I stand corrected. There is a slight bend right about in the middle.

Your drag link looks like it has a slight "S" bend to it. I wonder if drag links were bent as an adjustment for the movable steering box.

The backing plates have stop screws to limit the spindle travel. Part #

I posted a picture of my Link. It looks like the tire was rubbing on it. What limits the steering for going this far? Or did it originally have smaller tires on it with the wood spoke wheels? The plot thickens.

That may be, but my 19,300 mile 32 that has never had a collision is arrow straight. . The 31 will be home at the end of the week, I'll check that out. I'll be out of town for the next three days.

Curt, Look at that photo with the car on it's side in the dealer showroom. It shows the drag link really well. It does have a bend to it. Dave

That is what I though. I'm going to fix it. I'm going through the front and rear end of my car to make things perfect as new.., This car was restored in the 90's and I have far more resources to make it right.
