I'm going by L-29 Cord but if you remove the cushions you should see them.

I would try the spring section of your local hardware store. Not a big box store.

Thanks David and Mike. Do either of you know if the springs are available and from whom. Also, how do I access the location to replace them. Pete

If you ever take the seat back cushion out, and open the lid with out it in place, the lid comes crashing open, Just a tip.

There were two springs ( part # G6-4676). They are attached to the lower hinges, one on each side,, of the rumble seat. Some people only run one spring because they are fairly strong.

When I turn the release for the rumble seat on my cabriolet, the rumble seat does not slightly open like I believe it should. I have to push it open from the inside. Was there a spring to force the edge of the rumble seat open (like a bit of a pop up) so the edge can be grabbed to open the seat completely. If so, where would it be mounted. Thanks, Pete Wright
