Memories and a Thank You from Josh Malks' Son, Dan Malks was created by danmalks
Dear ACD Members,
My father, Josh Malks, was a past President and member of the ACD Club and lifelong lover of the Cord and the ACD community.
We really miss him and I was reminiscing the other day about some of his Cord related projects, including his film festival/compilation and a poster he created many years ago.
While perhaps not as well-known as his books and other written works, all these projects show Dad's focus not purely on the technical aspects of these wonderful vehicles, but also on the artistic and design side of things. His entrepreneurial spirit, as well as his obvious love of the Cord and all-things ACD, led him on many incredible journeys.
As Josh's son, I spent many days and weeks as a boy traveling in the back seat of our Cord on family trips, at meets and wandering around interacting with so many of you.
I'd like to thank you again for all the joy you and this wonderful community brought my Dad during his life.
If you have any photos or stories you would be willing to share about your memories or experiences with my Dad, I'd welcome receiving those in response to this post or you can reach me directly at:
[email protected].
Thanks very much and as my Dad would say,
CORDially Yours,
Dan Malks
