I believe that the fog king light with the tag pre-dates the other type of fog king shell but I believe it's the best one to use converting to a Cord fog king light. The reason is that the Cord Fog light tag will line up with the one already drilled into the shell. On the later fog light shell, you will find that the Cord fog light tag does not cover the engraving already on the shell. You need to file the name off so when you put the tags onto the shell, nothing show outside the tag. You then can chrome plate the shells. I know everyone accepts the amber fog king light with the white ring as correct, but if you look at a original accessory booklet, it shows the fog light as being a 6 11/16 guide fog light with the extended mounting bracket. Just saying........

Thanks Curt. Have been attempting to email her but my firefox platform is having "issues". I'm not able to send emails but am working on it. Others have told me to contact her too.

Joe the tag is different than the one I posted here. The proper tag says CORD Fog Light on it. I have a posting showing it on this forum. I tried to purchase two sets from Whit Glove on ebay. Sadly they listed something they do not have.

I'm not sure about the location of mfg, but I was thinking a riveted tag (like the Wisconsin one) was typical on the 810/812?

As best I can determine, The coveted Fog King driving lights were made in Racine, Wi..... I have this one and another just like it made in Ill.See the pic. When were they made in both locations or is the Ill light not correct?
