Hello mcdc,

that car was offered in 2000/2001 by a classic car dealer in Germany.

I found via a "wayback machine" (internet archive site/search) this announce (from 2001) with a lot of pictures of the car from different angles. One or two of them (in the middle and last picture) could be helpful for you.

Here is the link (I hope it could be opened in the US): http://web.archive.org/web/200206210018 ... attail.htm

Cheers

Matt

Hi Matt

Thanks very much for this.

My full drawing is actually of all of the car but I've cut it off in the one I've posted. The two pictures will definitely help get the overall rear end shape right and will help draw some of the less detailed chrome parts too.

Maybe I'll be able to mix together some 'tree/road' reflections from some other car pictures taken outside!

This shows that there are other pictures around, so fingers crossed I may still yet find the real one.

Thanks again.
Mark

I believe this car once belonged to Dick and Linda Kughn as part of their CarRail Collection in Michigan. You may be able to contact them or Bob and Debbie who currently handle the cars in their collection to see if they have any photos that will help you complete your rendering. Sorry, but I can't think of Bob and Debbie 's last name. Good luck!

Hi auburn-kid

Thanks for this. I'll try to find some way of contacting them (unless you have details??)

It certainly worth it. I can't have my wife still feeling bad after 23 years can I!

Many thanks

As far as I can see the Carail collection is closed and sold off now, but I could be wrong. I've got no idea where to look for where bob and Debbie might be. Can you help?
