The problem they had was the radiators in the fenders kept cracking and they could not keep water in it and to fix that was not easy . R

Hello Randy, you may remember speaking to me briefly in Auburn in 2015 ?
What a pity that remarkable car was scrapped. The headlights were in the wrong place for good air flow to the radiators.
In a letter to Ron Irwin I sent some pictures of remarkable Brough Superior motorcycles with over the top side cars and a monster trailer. Did you receive them ?
Thanks, Terry.

It was picked up at Auburn by the scrap co and destroyed with a receipt to prove it because it was a prototype and thus a liability. Randy Ema

What Happened To The Prototype Baby Duesenberg ? was created by Terry Cockerell
I have often wondered what happened to the prototype Baby Duesenberg after all of the work that went into it and the astronomical amount of money spent on constructing the body. The Gentleman's V12 Speedster still survives although it is a brute of a thing to look at by comparison. The body built by AH Walker and Co just cannot have been scrapped. Surely $12,000 worth of hand crafted body in those days must have been sold on.
Does anybody out there have any information on this remarkable prototype ?
