Don Summers recreated many hood ornaments for a wide range of cars and did excellent work. Many of his reproductions adorn cars although I don't know if any are on Duesenbergs. Sadly I believe Don is no longer with us, but his skillful creations live on.

Its very nice looking but appears to be numbered as if it was designed to be something for the shelf or desk. I'm really not an expert on the Duesenbergs but this tells me what I have posted. Still a very nice part.

I seriously doubt Don Summers would have signed an original hood ornament #17 of 300.

Duesenberg Hood Ornament - Is this real? was created by RyanKerrigan
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationToo good to be true? There is a beautiful hood ornament listed on EBay. Any suggestions on how to validate this item? If real, it would be a neat momento to own. Thanks!
