Thank you for your time in helping me sort this out. Last question. What about the tag tells you that it’s a reproduction? The fasteners could have been swapped out for any number of reasons over the past 80 + years.

It has a tag, (see photo), and a hand written note that comes with the history of the car, not pictured. Just wondering if you have the records in the club’s possession that could help me verify this. In the note it states, “rumored to have been re-bodied in the 1930’s for the Russian-American movie star Mischa Auer.” If you can help, that would be great.
