TCM will air " Where the Spies Are " October 27, 2015 @ 08.15.AM ET
David Niven plays a country doctor enlisted to go on a spy mission.
He drives a Cord Cabriolet in the early scenes. This Cord was owned by Club member James Leasor Author of the book on which the film is based. There is also a reference to the ACD Club.

After this film was made James Leasor came to our Auburn Reunion and told us of the need to rewrite the script when the Cord developed
" carburetor trouble". He said he was looking for water pump parts to
correct the overheating.

This film is now available on DVD.
