The steering on my 31 Auburn 8-98 is making a "clunking" noise. I jacked up the front end and I can wiggle the steering lever shaft in and out.
I tried tightening the lever shaft adjustment screw with no change in the noise. Any suggestions? And if necessary can the steering box be removed
with the engine in place?
