If you want to clean the tank yourself the solvent for the slosh is Methaleathelketon. I'm sure I spelled that wrong. All the same you put it in the tank and let it set on different sides for several hours doing it with new solvent till the slosh is gone. Its not easy or quick but it will remove the old slosh. I then sloshed again with ethenal friendly slosh and have had good luck with several cars in that manner.

1933 Auburn gas tank was created by pwrightII
My 1933 Auburn 8-101 gas tank has an old liner flaking off. Does anyone manufacture a replacement tank or is my only choice to try to have the tank cleaned via boiling etc?
