I forget exactly how I installed it but I think I sealed the outside edge, placed it, packed the outside, then cranked down the packing nut. Worked like a champ.
Rebuilding my water pump off my 1931 8-98a. Does anyone have instructions for installing new seal and bearing? And part numbers of seal they use. Any help appreciated Thamks Dan
