Philco Sedan Radio nameplate

Hi Wyn, nice looking Art Deco tag. Glad you found one.
Let's hope somebody can find the time to send pictures of the correct corresponding aerial.

Pleased reading you found and made this very nice looking tag. I for one had no idea about this radio or the name tag.

It turns out the same nameplate was used on certain Philco 826 models.  i was able to find one on ebay and salvaged the tag.  Below are some photos of the nameplate, and then as mounted on the finished 827K, which was originally equipped on my Westchester sedan: 

 

 

 

FYI, I learned that the correct nameplate looks like this.  It is red background with polished metal foreground.

I am talking about the ID plate that was on the front of the radio, not the 827 tag on the side.  You can see the 4 elongated holes on the face of the radio where some sort of tag was attached.

Do you mean this tag (with the exception of the wrong model number)? 

Does anyone have a photo of the front of a Philco sedan radio box, showing the nameplate.  This is not the little round Cord sticker that went on a Crosley radio.  I am guessing it is rectangular, about 3/4" x 3", based on the hole pattern in my radio.
