The two holes nearest the inside of the car are the larger diameter unthreaded holes used for the longer 1/4-28 screw and sleeve set.  The other smaller diameter holes are threaded for the short 5/16-24 hinge screws.  You can see the larger diameter holes nearest the inside of the vehicle in the photos here:

Door hinge through bolts was created by Doc Flathead
We are restoring  an 812 Sedan, the restoration of which was commenced several years ago. The door hinge screw plates have obviously been remanufactured and fitted during this time and no allowance was made for the through bolts, all holes being tapped 5/16" U.N.F.

We need to know which holes in the screw plates for the bottom hinges we are to drill, to accomodate the through bolts which we have. Could someone please advise?
