Pat, pardon my ignorance, but does this conversion work for
our 812's with a 6Volt electrical system?

Well done. I just picked up an inherited 41 Philco console radio from restoration today. These old units have such a unique sound. Eventually I need to dig into the radio in my 36 and figure out why it doesn't work / add Bluetooth.

Here is a Philco radio my son repaired and added Bluethooth to play music from my phone. Sounds much better with Bluetooth than AM radio station.
I gave him 3 more various styles of old Philco radios to work on. I was surprised that the old tubes are readily available still and cheap.
