How Rare Are Wing Windows???

Tim Gilmartin told me he had never seen any wing windows on Cords.
Mine will swing out to the 90 degree mark but I keep them closed to minimize the wind loading on them. Being as rare as they are I don't want them blown away.

I would say fairly rare. I've seen them here and there but not often.

Do they fold all the way around to direct air into the driver's compartment?

I have often wondered just how rare are the Accessory Wing Windows?
I believe my Cord had them fitted around 1937, the first picture was taken in 1939.
I am also aware there were two versions, mine are the early type, the second type had more sheet metal around the window.
During the recent restoration I was able to attach side mirrors to the wing window frames.
