Here are the pictures of my filter from the ACD factory. Some have told me two different types were made. Lets see what others have to say.

I have an original air filter I purchased from the ACD company in Broken Arrow Oklahoma several years ago. I will post pictures of it later today to show the differences. I'm the person that sent the message to the ebay seller too.

Air cleaner : any ideas? was created by rg171352
No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationI have this air cleaner:

I bought it thinking it was Cord, along with other parts I have been collecting but have decided to let it go.  I received this message from someone:

"This is NOT an air cleaner for any Cord 810 or 812 engine. The tab on top is incorrect as is the curved area above the carb intake. The underside needs to have a hole about 5/8 inch diameter for the vapor extraction from the crankcase up thru the oil fill spout. Sadly I cannot tell you what car this filter is from. I have been "around" Cord cars since 1961. I do not know everything but enough to recognize correct parts by appearance. If you posted this on the Auburn Cord Duesenberg web site or posted pictures of it on the Facebook ACD site you might get some help."

Investigating further, I have only found one car with a similar air cleaner:   www.flickr.com/photos/8396406@N03/926926225

Can anyone please shed light as to what I have?

Thanks
