Welcome to the club. These cars are addictive. The Cord is beautiful and the Auburn looks like a fun project. I'm sure you'll be able to find the parts you will need.
Happy Motoring!
Dave

I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself and welcome all warmly here!
I'm a lover and collector of vintage cars, own some German vehicles and now 3 U.S. pre-war vehicles, a Ford Model A coupe year 1929, a Cord 810 Sedan Wesdtchester and Auburn 8-98 A Sedan

The Cord 810, Westchester, built in 1936 I have since 2011.
I bought him from a dealer here in Germany. According to his information, the cord had previously been in a museum in Copenhagen. Whether this is true I can not say. If anyone knows the vehicle and can tell me what the history I would be very happy!
Year 07/1936, chassis number 1209 A
Who knows the vehicle and can tell me something about the history?

My latest project is an Auburn 8-98 A Sedan, built in 1931.
He was also offered here from a dealer for a few months. Actually I did not buy Ihnn because even an Opel 1.2 Year 1932 awaits restoration. Furthermore, the Auburn was also offered with various missing parts such as fenders, doors, hood and radiator grille. But no chance! By Cord 810 I was already infected and so I bought the Auburn Last Go Week. I have a photo of Auburn in the U.S. in 1992. After that he must be at some point come to Germany. Here, the Auburn was disassembled for restoration. Due to a death is no longer comprehensible where the missing parts are ended up. So at least the history of the dealer.
Overall, Auburn is in a better condition than expected. The engine, transmission and chassis seems to be in good condition. But I have not let him run.
It was built in 1936 and the chassis number is 18683 A 8-98
Anyone who knows the vehicle and can tell me something about the story?
Who has parts for me? I've also switched to a search of Auburn vehicles and parts. I am grateful for any information!
