I was able to find a local (Indianapolis) locksmith that had a key blank that matched the trunk key, which was a Yale aluminum key. They said that it was a Yale keyway and may have been the original key? The replacement blank was an ILCO 1199 R.
I'm planning to take them the door handle, which has no key at all. I'll let you know what I find out.
