So this is what an 812 would look like having running boards.. Not impressed with the look. But can appreciate the rarity of this car too.

This extremely rare picture of EL Cord's LeBaron Limousine was taken at the rear of the western end of the Factory in West 18th Street. It shows it's original hood and grill that was later changed before delivery to EL Cord to the style used on the Lebaron convertible sedan and convertible coupe. A later picture of this car can be seen in Josh Malks's book The Timeless Classic on page 181 plus a description of how the car came about.
The second picture shows the same general location where 1934 Auburns were placed in yard storage.
The last picture was taken in August 2018 again showing the same general area.
I just love the picture frame.
Two more pictures of this rare Lebaron Cord were found in the Coach Built site on Alex Tremulis. They were obviously taken on the same day as the first picture.
If you zoom in on the first picture the Cord Westchester in the background definitely has the bumper over riders turned down.
I have marked the exact location of the picture on the Factory plan. The car was clearly parked on the north south roadway.
