You should be proud that you fooled a few of us here too... If it hadn't been for April Fools day, you might have gotten a few more.
The garage door not sitting right on the cement - looks like mine.

I then took the cardboard walls and set them up outside on the sidewalk in front of my shop. I placed the Duesy in the corner of the two walls and propped the front end up. I blocked the left side with a cardboard box and put a big piece of cardboard over the top to keep the sunlight out.
It was a nice sunny day, so a lot of sunlight shined in through the windows that I cut out in the overhead door. There was even a little light shining in under the door which made it look realistic. That worked because the cardboard didn't fit real tight to the sidewalk.
There was just enough light peeking in from behind to make it look like a light was turned on from the ceiling.
One part that made it look real good was the sunlight shining in through the windows and reflecting on the side of the car.
There was no touch up done to the photo at all other than resizing it to make it fit fairly well in a browser screen. I did a decent enough paint job on the car way back when that it looked today like an old faded and dusty paint job. I must have been about 12 or 13 when I built that model. I was really proud of it at the time.

Sorry, I just couldn't resist.
Actually, I found this in my parent's basement a week ago. It was a 1/18th scale model made by Hubley that I put together when I was a kid sometime around the mid-sixties.
Over the years it had gotten damaged a little but was still good enough to use for quite a jaw-dropping joke, wouldn't you say?

An old customer of mine, of whom I've serviced his cars for the past 25
years (I have an auto repair business), and who is about 90 years old, is
selling his house and moving into a retirement apartment complex. He said
he had an old car out in the garage that's been sitting for over 60 years
and wondered if I was interested in it. He said it ought to be worth a couple
thousand dollars for parts but to make him an offer. He said he's always
appreciated the work I do for him so whatever I wanted to pay for the car, I
could have it.
He said he's never told anyone about the car all these years but has
finally decided to tell me about it. Here's his story...
Back in the early forties, a very good friend of his went into World War II
and asked him if he would store his car for him while he was gone. He did,
but his best friend never came back. Then sometime in the late forties,
someone got into the garage and stole the top, the whole front axle
assembly and front wheels, the hood, and the trunk. He can't remember
when or how the door handles came up missing. When he discovered the
theft of the parts, he was so disgusted, especially with the loss of his best
friend, he locked up the garage and tried to forget about it.
And here it is:
I've got to carefully rig up something under the front end so I can roll it
out of the garage and onto a trailer.
I just can't pass up a deal like this one. Just how often does something
like this happen, anyway? I told him this car is worth quite a bit, but he
insists on me having it. He said he doesn't care about the money and
doesn't need it.
It just needs to be cleaned up and have a little paint work done. But I
probably can't afford the missing parts!
