"Hot Rod Harry" died in 1974. The car went to Dr. Don Vesley, then Rick Carroll, Bob Bahre, Noel Thompson, the Imperial Palace, Dean Kruse, Rich Atwell, and currently John O'Quinn.

Does the car currently have engine J528 and chassis 2551?
Engine J-487 is in the LeBaron LWB Dual Cowl Phaeton (chassis 2336), or not?

2003 August 2, Meadow Brook Richard Atwell, Black, top down. JRA 2 photos. Assume J528
2002 August 18 PB: Rich Atwell, Black with black top, side exhaust. 2nd in Duesenburg Class, On PB tour. No S/N taken assume J528. JRA 3 photos
1999 August, PB Expo. Photo cat p32, Red with ? top SC with dual carbs, 1st 5P 4d open car with concealed top. "This was the only Brunn Riveria Phaeton that was originally supercharged". Formerly Noel Thompson and Imperial Palace collection. Asking $1,250,000

1998 January, B-J cat, b&w photos p32. Riviera Phaeton SJ. Dual Carbs, correct in every way. HB $775,000 reported by BN Jones "Conv Sedan"
1993 Malk p88 "Conv Torpedo Sedan" Named Riveria it had a totally disappearing top. Super charged car. J528 /2551. 3 made, other two are J521/2550 & J525/2555.
1992, ACD NL #5 Recollections by Bob Roller. Mid-50's owned by Harry Schulizinger. Fenders black with a hideous Chartreuse body. Tells about J5821 swallowing its timing chain and broke a hole throught #3 They put in J487 after soupinging it up with Jahns high compression pistons and boring it to 3.875. Bell housing from J467. Installed an overdrive transmission, a Clark from a White truck. 1st was useless, but 5th, overdrive made it roll right along. Saw 140 mph .
1987 December 1987 TCC Fred Roe, p43 at the Gilmore museum "Duesenberg Experience" Owner Noel Thompson. Original owner Col. Jacob Schick, came with odd little scoop louvers on hood. (Note: Also at meet, J521/2550 with engine J440)
1987 March,CC Car of the Month by Adler p30, 6 page article.on J521/2550. Mentions that J528/2551, built to order for Colonel Jacob Schick is now on J467!
