You can still get lacquer paint, especially touch up paints. Not sure about matching the color.

Paint question was created by pwrightII
My 1933 Auburn was painted in the mid 90’s with DuPont lucite acrylic laquer. The paint is still very nice but I have several very small chips which I’d like to take care of. If I can get a match made with todays paint will it cause the laquer to bubble or would it be ok to use? Thanks
Pete
