Hagerty has come to Canada with " Hagerty Silver Wheel Plan "
My policy reads in part " We will not pay more to repair the automobile
than the value indicated above. If a part needed to repair the automobile
is no longer available, we will pay an amount equal to the manufacturer's
latest list price for the part. This coverage is subject to the deductible
shown on your Certificate of Automobile Insurance."
Advice: read your policy !
George.

I am using Hagerty too, for many of the same reasons as Mike. But Hagerty was the only company that would allow my kids to drive the cars. For the other insurance companies the age limit was 21 or 25. Since my kids were raised around the cars and the club and had been helping me work on them I wanted them to be able to drive them when they got their licence.
I've also had a couple of claims with Hagerty and they were great to deal with. No problems at all.

I have used Hagerty because they have no miles driven limits. Some others do, although I can't speak for the two mentioned above. Others also have one car driven at a time limits and at times I have two cars on the read at once.
Some also have rules about cars must be locked in a garage at night and not parked in some hotel parking lot. Be sure and check these fine print items before you change Co's.
CORDially Mike

Hi Tim,
When I shopped insurance a couple of years ago, I found that Hagerty was half-again the price of J C Taylor. I went with Taylor, but Hagerty keeps sending me emails.

Hello all: i'm using Hagerty Insurance for my 36 Cord and my 64 Vette. A friend just insured with Classic Collectors Ins. Co., and the cost was about two-thirds of Hagertys and going from $1000 deductible to $500 deductible.
The official name is Classic Collectors, insurance by Infinity. His broker was Midwest Classic Ins. Out of Auburn, IL. (yes, Illinois).
Anyone out there have experience with this company? They seem to be legit.
Thank you.
Tim.
