Thanks Mike for this information.I was not planning to purchase this emblem but wanted to know if this was an original. So far I have seen three different emblem designs. Some have the Cord letters surrounded in white and others are raised letters with no white. I really do not want to buy something that is not period correct for my 37 Cord because why buy it twice or more times. So research is king before I buy anything. Also I thought of read somewhere that the hand crank hole was located behind the emblem badge on the L29 cars. I have not verified this yet.The L29 is not a car I know much about but ALL ACD cars have interested me for many years

This is a L-29 Cord crank hole cover with the stud on the back broken off, thus the need for the clip. It is too expensive!! The backing needs to be chrome plated and the emblem is not that good.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationPlease look closely at this and the above pictures of different emblems. I believe the last emblem is correct but never been told. The differences are the edge molding and the way the Cord script is done.

The first badge has the stud near the centre while the last one has it closer to the top.
The first one is cheap while the last is very expensive. Who knows? It is a case of supply and demand.
It is a pity Cord parts are not cheaper but then again they are still affordable for us average people.
