I have a 1968 Samco Cord Warrior with a Ford 302 engine.
Currently I want to rebuild the car and get it registered and back on the road in germany.
To do so the german dmv requires some kind of technical datasheet.
But except for the title I have nothing about the car.
So if anyone here in the forum can give me any official information/documentation that would be really helpfull.
Maybe someone from germany or austria is in this forum?

So far we have redone the fuel system including tank and carb, radiator, brakes, some wiring and all the usual stuff when they are not driven for 20 years....

I have a friend that also owns a Samco Royale with the 440. He is currently restoring it. He said that he thinks it is most likely a Ford part from 68 to 70 but that they also used Chrysler parts of the period. He is very knowledgeable on these cars….I am not…..as I own and specialize in Auburn Boattail Speedster replicas. If you would like to talk with him, please feel free to contact me. I’m not too sure how we do that through this website. I am an ACD member. Regards JEROME

ACDMAN, are you still a member here? I could use your help if you are.
Could you please help me decipher a SAMCO serial number? After a few hours on the interweb I think I've figured out that it was a Royale with a 440. It's s/n 59R-1043-C. This is the number on the bill of sale from when he purchased it and may be missing a zero at the beginning of the number? My Father bought this car December 22 1969 in Vancouver B.C. Canada. There is some evidence that this was the only one in Canada at that time. He came across this car a few years after he had sold it and it was in rather poor condition. Ideally I'd like to find this car and restore it. Any help at all with info on this (or the SAMCO cars in general) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Bart

Hello,
Would you happen to know what frame the SAMCO Cord is built on? I am looking for some replacement leaf springs.
Thank you very much!!
Craig

I am the owner of a Cord Royale 1970 model. This is the one with the 440 Chrysler engine. I need to do some repairs on the brakes, and wondered if anyone here knows where I can get parts.
Thank you!!!
kind regards
Tom
