The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

1931/32 Auburn was created by Tarson
Have an opportunity to purchase a 31 Auburn 2 dr, sedan. The Lycoming engine is removed and is an 8 cylinder. Where is the VIN for this car located as the owner has no idea? Many cars have them at the frame at the steering box. Also trying to find whether it is a 31 or 32. Yes its been hot rodded with a small block and power glide. Does this car have the 2 speed rear end...any ideas about value?

thx
