I have a 31 & 32 Auburn both mount with the air intake toward the rear. I have had other brands 29-32 model A Fords and Chevys all mount with the air intake towrd the rear.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.

I am still working on the 30 and an interesting question has arisen. Does the carb (Schebler) mount with the "air cleaner" toward the front of the car or the rear of the car? Mounting it toward the rear certainly make it much easier to adjust everything. Anyone's thoughts on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
