1928 Auburn- a couple of questions was created by buickimc
I recently purchased a 1928 Auburn, and would like to ask a few questions about the vehicle,

The car is a 1928 Auburn Fordor sedan.
Engine Number: 2981110
Chassis Number: WS3756

1. Is this a "matching numbers car" Ie is this the engine the car left the factory with?
2. What is the exact model of this car? I am lead to believe this is a 6-66?
3. My car is missing the timing advance and retard linkages, could someone please post a photo so I can see the path they follow as well as what they look like.
4. How many of the 6-66 and 8-88 where manufactured? and how many have thought to still survive?

Thanks in advance for any help
