I am trying to locate an auburn 851 or 852 boatail speedster. It was owned by Sherm Hall of the Shasta Mission Bottleing Company in L.A. Ca. around 1962 or 63. It was located at the bottleing plant on Mission Blvd in L.A. This car did not have the an original engine but had the original 2 sped rear end. It needed plenty of front end body work as I recall. I used to play in this car when I was around 10 or 11 years old. My father and Sherm owned many cars between them. My cord was part of that collection. I paid Sherm $1750.00 for his half in 1975.... What a deal.... I'm not interested in buying the Auburn. Just interested if it was finished and running. Its just part of my past history. I would love to see the car again if its around still and not parted out.... That would be a shame to learn of. Thanks in advance for any info on this car.
