Me thinks Jim's Cord is green because it isn't ripe yet?
RF.
PS. Indian Motocycles came out with the same lima bean looking green in 1940 only, calling it Jade Green.

Replied by ETHAN ALLEN TURNER on topic Ganges green vs cool orchard green
In 1936 the factory used ganges green paint, all of you must remember Harry Golden's Cord Westchester called the green bean seen at Auburn for at least 25 years until it was sold. That car was ganges green all original and was owned by band leader Rudy Vallie. For all models produced in 1936 the interiors used green cloth in the sedan and green leather in the open cars, there are a few sedans that were fitted with green leather, an example of this is Jim Lawerence's 1936 Westchester. The dealer's showroom swatch book which I have for 1937 cars shows the fabrics used and paint chips. The color change for 37 was cool orchard green (looked like british racing green used on many English cars not a popular color for the Cord, then the factory closed. I am not sure what medium green shade is, that the factory used for the dash. This shade is not shown in the swatch book. Jim's Weschester still has the orginal medium on his dash, just can't picture it now.

Cord 4 door sedan. was created by kedeuel2008
I live out here in northeren utah. And I have a friend that has a Cord 810 4 door sedan that is unrestored. His father is the one-and-only owner of this car. The weard thing about the car is that it has a Med. Green paint job. Know I don't know if it is a repaint or not. But it does run. And next week, i'll see if I can get a few pictures of the car. And I believe that it is for sale. I'll let everyone know if it is. Kim
