Mike, you may have forgot to mention that your L-29 was NOT at the Spring meet. I am sure if it was there, you would have offered me a tow in Auburn.

I was at the Spring Warm up meet but where was the 812 owner who challenged me? NO WHERE TO BE SEEN! I guess he got cold feet. I'm waiting for the pink slip to be sent to me. When there is a forfeit you loose. So very soon I will have a 812 for sale, pink slip will be arriving soon. Thanks in advance George.

Nice way to call the L-29 a tractor,
But I still think they are the lowest and sleekest of all the ACD cars, The L-29 does not have to be fast, they just look fast.

Hello I think what Ken is talking about is what they call in the agricultural world is a Tractor pull which would be an appropriate term in the L29 vocab Randy

Now if you guys want to compare L-29 against a 810 or 812. I honestly believe that if you hooked them up them up an L-29 would pull a 810 or 812 around the coral, the gearing in the L-29 is so much lower and the engine has much more lugging power.Plus a heavier car.
Now speed wise the 810, 812 with out a dought has the advantage, but the 2 cars are so different in time design. There were things available at the time, that would have liked to see in the L-29.but it would not be the car it is today. Very Unique.

Hello Mike,
If you are willing to find out which is the REAL CORD, bring your car and title to the spring warm up and we can test against my 812 on some back road. (better bring your red pickup for a way to get home) Winner take all on a 0-60 run. Will yours go that fast?

I can't believe there hasn't been a entry in this forum since Dec. 7. I guess all use L-29 guys no everything!
I just put this in so the OTHER CORD guys would think there is some interest in THE REAL CORD.
