I've always liked the L29, but my dad has a bit of an 812 bias and he talked me out of buying one back when the getting was good.

Check under the hood of Mike H.'s L-29. Maybe that's his secret to outrunning the 812s...

Bob Swanson posted this over on the HAMB (traditional hot rod forum). It's from 1935 and shows a overhead valve conversion for a L29 Cord (cost $450.00). Has anyone ever seen one of these in person?
