Albert Keep Isham's (possible) Duesenberg was created by Earl Boebert
Albert Keep Isham was a rich playboy who built a huge mansion in Carpenteria (Santa Barbara area) CA in 1927. Only the pool house survives. There is a almost certainly apocryphal story that he drove his Duesenberg into the pool during a wild jazz-age party. Pretty unlikely, since contemporary pictures of the pool house don't show any entrances big enough to allow such a vehicle into the building. In the course of debunking the story for a short bio of Isham I am working on, the second question is : is there any record anywhere that an Albert Keep Isham AKA Albert Isham AKA Albert K. Isham ever owned a Duesenberg?
