...I have seen them on another Duesenberg, J-420, when it was for sale by Kruse a year or so ago. They look like racing lights...I can't think of any reason you'd put them that low on a Duesy. The weird grille and lights must have been that long-term owner's special modifications. Compared to what he could have done to his Berline, not bad.
I really need to find a copy of the Roe book, don't I?
